We offer two routes into the School of Public Management, each tailored to your current qualification level and future goals.

Higher Certificate in Public Management 

Perfect for those with workplace experience but lacking formal qualifications. This route includes:

Note: RPL candidates must complete the English RegReady and ACE Access programme (1-month duration) to proceed.

Advanced Diploma in Public Management (ADPM)

Ideal for students with an NQF Level 6 qualification who need to bridge the academic gap to Level 7. This curriculum includes:

  • Excelling in English
  • How the Public Sector Works
  • Introduction to Computer Skills
  • Introduction to Economics
  • Academic Literacy
  • Learning Tools for Academic Success
  • Access to ACE Modules
Entrance criteria

Students with an NQF 6 qualification and less than 60% in English may be required to complete English Proficiency Placement and the ACE Access programme (1-month duration).

Exit level: NQF Level 7
